Coming across this blogger, by doing a Google on Military Support Bush or Military Poll to find that Karl Rove is right, there are no links to (at least easily found) showing lack of military support for Bush. * But I did not find Rove's outlandish quote that "the troops get what they want and need". It seems that justifies what the administration says if they have the same sources and carefully navigate the intelligence.
On the other hand, I found some preemptive comments that may have played a role or seen the Rove role change coming or cause it. The latter first: Take it to Karl The former earlier: Karen Hughes: Karl Rove’s Kryptonite Oops, two years too early. Seen what coming or caused?
Bush should have been awoken much earlier, and we tried. Seriously, the guest comment, not that she is aware of my blog, hit a few points, Rove, the trooops/ Iraq, and Hillary with a few good links that I have yet to read, and will save comment for later. Suffice to say that it takes some filtering of the filter and there is more than fertilizer in them there hills, or links.
Oh heck I will touch on a few: Rove is a heck of a filter of fertilizer and the media as well. His comments on the troops, and his comment on Hillary, navigate though or pile on the fertilizer to some reality. And on "the surge", another cautious step through the piles of it.

6-25-13: In the mean time[*], I ran into someone who was quite concerned with the likes of the current goings on, in particular certain market happenings. Not to be obtuse but it gave me a chance to till my fertilizer and other field theories. (fn1)

[It struck me that the title is just part of the set up and works well at that. I mean it was typical of me to assume that each Cc: was an indication that the sender did not know what "shovel ready" even means. (Maybe they do, maybe they don't, but it fits into my spin as I fell for it.)]
FYI: Most projects start from the ground up. I can't really think of any that don't. There is also the term in projects called "breaking ground", which takes a shovel or other heavy equipment. So really I guess I have made even more sense of the cartoon, since stimulus is a lot like fertilizer. I wonder where the blank think it comes from?
I use the term "blank", because I did not want to pin it on just the Republicans, Conservatives or the rich since that would be too much of a PC.(Political Cartoon)* But I wonder just what they are thinking.

Carry On Comment!
Borrowed from an AM1090 caller to one of the afternoon talk shows, the interesting dilemma of Karl Rove is his confessing apparently...
that he has no diary or record of his work with the administration.
This with his apparent plan to write a book, means...
either he has a very good memory or it will be in the fiction section.
Actually I just rearranged the caller's comment to my own taste in my usual way.
His point was that it takes "I don't recall" and all it's variations "off the table" when it comes to congressional investigations.
I would add
the only alternative
is straight to "the pen".

At least they admitted that "they" (the media) create them (the turd blossoms), but of course there will be, on the Right, as several of his (Rove's) proteges are distributed amongst the Republican candidates. But on The Left there is too much distribution of brains to get away with anything like what the administration has so far distributed. Shame on MSNBC for such work. There is some good news on the new Hillary ad, but to follow with a piece on Rove? And while running the bottom line, "the next Karl Rove" under "her inner Bill".]

"Our Addiction to Fake Outrage": Could it be self-righteousness or open markets?* Information should be free flowing but...needs a filter not a Drudge. That is the dilemma: who?
Certainly not trickle down; talk about "bucket shops".
Progressive Strategies: Social Darwinism? Forgetting nature and God.
People forget to credit their environment, and take for granted what they got and expect others in different environments to do as well and take the blame for theirs. Shoe is on the other foot, or foot in mouth, shoot it. Grass is greener, blah, blah, blah, dot, dot, dot,** etc.
* the nature of information is that what shocks, gets attention (and awe), and feeds the market, rather than information that puts things together which is more complicated, much like the difference between war and nation building. On top of that to expect government not to have harder work to create laws and execute them(laws not people) and then the difficulty of the fourth branch has certainly not evolved in a straight line.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat and Catapult.
Today the president gave an important* presidential ADDRESS, according to the administration, before the National Endowment for Democracy. Rather than primetime it was snooze time for the West coast at least. As listeners woke to their clock radios and the president's voice, it just may not be the right time of day for propaganda. As opposed to Tom DeLay’s remark about his indictments not passing a test of the shortest glance, minds may be their most keen while hitting the snooze button. One caller to the Ed Shultz Show claimed to have an epiphany during the speech. His point being that anyone who runs a successful business must lay out success metrics in order to succeed, and all Bush has is failure metrics.
The first point was embedded in the first paragraph of my comments "Intelligent Design? More Irony." The balance of it covered the endless recycling of Bush's excuses.
A further case in point, while I am uncertain if it came from the speech, is the question: Would Iraq be better off with Bin Laden in charge? While we can’t go home again,(well I don’t really know) but if Bin Laden is now an option, why not ask if Iraq is better off with Sadam? My point not being to answer that, only that the options are now even worse. So if a red herring is what we faced, we can always imagine smellier fish.
Maybe it is fertilizer but I don't imagine it will help democracy whether it is a fragile flower or a tree, whether it is homegrown or outsourced.
